Dropshipping is a retail strategy where businesses don't stock the products they sell. Instead, when a customer buys a product from a dropshipping retailer, the retailer purchases it directly from a third party such as a manufacturer, wholesaler, or another retailer. The third party then ships the product directly to the customer.
This process involves four simple steps: the customer places an order with the retailer, the retailer processes the order and passes it to the supplier, the supplier fulfills the order at their warehouse, and finally, the supplier ships the order directly to the customer.
At Ashcroft Furniture, we handle shipping to the address specified in your Purchase Order based on the chosen method. We offer free drop shipping, with the exception of palletized shipping which incurs a reasonable fee of $50 per pallet to cover materials and labor. Please note that we do not send an invoice with your order, but we do provide a Bill of Landing.
Ashcroft Furniture arranges shipment to the address specified on the Purchase Order according to the chosen shipping method. Shipping fees and costs are non-refundable.
Dropshipping orders do not incur additional fees, except for palletized shipping, which includes a $50 fee per pallet to cover materials and labor. All fees are detailed on the invoice accompanying the order.
Ashcroft Furniture only works with businesses in the home furnishings, interior design, home staging, or property management and rental industries.
Note that Ashcroft Furniture features its own branding, “Ashcroft Furniture Co,” on boxes—but not on receipts, invoices, packing slips, or labels. The end customer only gets a copy of the Bill of Landing without any pricing information.
